Sister Theresa Momo Yalewa.jpg

Sister Theresa Momoyalewa, April 8, 1938 - June 22, 2020.

It is with a heavy heart, but fond memories, that we received advice of the passing of Sister Theresa in the Cook Islands. Many will remember Sister for her guidance and teaching at St Anne’s Primary School and St Joseph’s Secondary School, her dedication to her faith and her trust in God. It was wonderful to see her at the 2016 SJSS reunion in Suva.

We pray for Sister Theresa who is “dwelling now in light yet ever near” and for all of those who loved her and were touched by her.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen.
